The1890"s Kimberly is a special edition doll, originally designed for a Beatrice Potter exhibit at the Discovery Center children's museum in Rockford, Illinois. This doll stands 35" and has a cloth body with a plastic and wire armature. The head, arms, shoulderplate, and high-top boots are made of porcelain. A leather panel with laces is inset in each boot.
This doll has a cotton chemise, corset with stays, and a lace timmed slip under her cotton blouse - embellished with a cameo pin. Her lined jacket and gored skirt are made of wool suiting and trimmed with decorative, looped trim
