"Bake My Day"
Number five in the "Remembering Grandma" Series
Bake My Day - #5 Remembering Grandma Series

"Remembering Grandma" is a series of one-of-a-kind 12" (8" seated) dolls depicting adult ladies reminiscent of those special women in our lives -- our grandmothers.

I had two wonderful Grandmothers, Mary Ivy and Erma Jane, both of whom will play a big part as inspiration for this series. These ladies will be proud Octogenarians (yes, that makes them great grandmothers, but we're not getting technical here).

"Bake My Day" - side view
stool for #5 Remembering Grandma
This Grandma, seated on an “old-fashioned” kitchen stool, is getting ready to work her magic in the kitchen. Company will arrive soon, but this lovely lady will be ready.

This "Remembering Grandma" doll has a polymer clay head with wool hair, polymer hands, and legs clad with nylon stockings. She is wearing sculpted polymer shoes with laces and a hand-made cameo brooch on her dress.

"Bake My Day" has a navy, cotton print dress with a cotton apron. She is holding a flour sack in one hand and a rolling pin in the other hand. A dish towel is tucked in her apron pocket.

"Bake My Day" is a one of a kind doll available for $295
