Rose is made of muslin, stuffed and painted to look like her features are three-dimensional. She wears a cotton dress, bonnet and pinafore to complete her pioneer outfit. She cradles a cornhusk doll, dressed in lace and a tiny bonnet.
Rose has painted bangs and braided string hair. She has painted shoes, with tie laces, and painted socks.
