"Patty's Parade" is a one of a kind polymer doll created by Marcia Dundore Wolter. Patty depicts a 1950’s preteen participating in the Veteran’s Day parade. Her little Westie dog is made of polymer clay with hand applied fur.
“Patty", made with a wire armature and cloth body, is 16” tall and is riding on a reproduction ‘50’s era bike that is 18” long. She has polymer clay hands, feet, shoes, head and shoulder plate. The shoulder plate allows her head to be freely positioned. Her hair is mohair, which is hand-wigged to her head.
Patty’s clothes are denim overalls over a long sleeved blouse with tiny plaid print. She has artfully painted eyes and delicate eyelashes. Tiny red bows tied to her long braids continue the “red, white and blue” theme of her clothes and parade-decorated bike. Her black and white saddle shoes, made of polymer clay over her cotton socks, aree vintage 1950's.
The reproduction bike is made of metal and is fully functioning, with petals, rubber wheels, kick stand, and a bike chain.
